Calendar embed goes here. Slots come from the Calendly event itself, so duration and availability are set there, never here. The confirmation page must fire CallBooked.

Right now, all of this runs through you

  • You take every call and write every proposal.
  • You onboard each client and introduce the consultant.
  • You chase the timesheets and pay the invoices.
  • You raise the bills, then you chase them.
  • Every difficult client reaches your desk.
  • The history and the templates are in your head, so a resignation puts you back in delivery.

You hired consultants to buy your time back. Every one of them made that list longer.

What we install, in 90 days

Operations

Intake and onboarding, matching work to people, timesheet collection and authorisation, consultant payments, billing and chasing, a written playbook for escalations, and a weekly dashboard.

Knowledge

Client histories, templates and how your practice does things, in one place. A new consultant onboards without you, and one who leaves takes nothing with them.

Growth

Marketing from ten-minute voice notes in your own voice, a pipeline that moves, and proposals written from the call recording.

Nothing off a shelf and nothing to log into. Every function gets a named owner on your team, trained while we build. An operations manager would still need you to explain all of it; this is built out of your knowledge during the install, so you explain it once.

Since launching Next Step Advisory over two years ago, I've been juggling client work, business development, and all the manual tasks that eat into evenings and weekends. […] Most importantly, they free me up to do the judgment work only I can do: advising clients, building relationships, and growing my referral network.
Debbie RabishawFounder, Next Step Advisory
Honestly I didn't realise how much was coming through me until they made me track a week. Every invoice, every client wobble, every new consultant asking where the templates were. The first month was a fair bit of back and forth getting everything mapped, but now onboarding a new consultant takes a couple of days instead of most of my week. I actually took a proper holiday in August and my phone stayed quiet.

When one of our senior consultants left last year we nearly lost three clients with her. All her case history was in her inbox. That's what got me to call Empowrd. They set up a shared system so everything stays with the business, and when someone else moved on in the spring it was a non-event for clients. That alone was worth it for me.
Laura BennettBennett Employee Relations
On my first call they gave me two things to fix that week, before I'd signed anything. I did them and they helped, so that was a good sign. Since then they've built out our onboarding, monthly client reports and scheduling for my fractional leads. I have three people running client work now and I'm mostly not involved day to day, which I never thought I'd say.

I'll be honest, I came in skeptical. I'd paid for three AI tools in the past year and nobody on my team used any of them. What was different here is they built around how we already work and kept checking in until it stuck. Policy reviews that took us two weeks take a few days now. Clients mostly get answers without me. Good experience overall.

We'd been burned by a software company before that didn't understand how HR work actually gets delivered. This lot did. They asked about case management, how our consultants hand things over, what clients complain about. They found we were losing a big chunk of margin to manual reporting. That's mostly gone now. We were meant to do three months and we're coming up on a year.
Priya ShahClearPath HR Solutions
I thought I'd be too small for them to bother with. Not the case at all. They sorted my client intake and all my document prep so I'm not up at 10pm doing letters anymore.
Hannah OkaforOkafor HR
I went in only paying for the diagnostic because I wasn't sure. […] It ended up being about a dozen pages and pretty blunt about where I was losing money. I signed on after that. Proposals used to take me most of a Friday, now they go out the same day as the call.
Marcus ThompsonThompson Talent Advisory
Recruiters had notes in five different places and candidates were sitting for over a week before anyone got back to them. They built us an intake and shortlist process that pulls it all together. We're getting shortlists to clients in about three days now.
Denise KowalskiNorthline Talent
Consultant invoicing took my ops person three or four days and I was still checking every candidate report before it went out. Both of those are handled now. Invoicing is an afternoon. […] I've passed their name on to a couple of other search firm owners.
James WhitfieldWhitfield Executive Search
Every programme was delivered slightly differently depending on who ran it. Empowrd helped us standardise how we deliver and track outcomes, and that gave us enough confidence to start pricing on results. Our contracts are bigger now and the team isn't working longer to get there.

Before you book

Who is this for, and who isn't it for?
HR consultancy founders with a team of consultants or associates, who still run marketing, new business, onboarding, consultant pay, billing and escalations themselves. It is not for solo practitioners, because there is nobody to hand the work to, and not for practices whose only problem is lead flow. If that's you, we'll say so on the call rather than take the fee.
Is this software I'm buying?
No. There is nothing to log into and nothing here you could buy from anyone else. We build it inside your practice, on your own documents and your process. Two consultancies doing identical work end up with two different systems, because they do not run, price or write anything the same way.
What actually happens on the call?
Thirty minutes. We go through every function your practice needs done — marketing, sales, onboarding, matching work to people, timesheets, consultant pay, invoicing, escalations, hiring, reporting — and write down who does each one today. You leave with that map whether we work together or not. Most founders find their own name on nearly every line.
How is it priced? Do you take a share of revenue?
A fixed fee, agreed before we start, and nothing tied to your revenue. It begins with a paid diagnostic that produces the dependency map, the score and a dated install plan. If you go on to the install, half the diagnostic fee comes off your first month. The install is a rolling three-month arrangement with no fixed end date.
Can I start with just the diagnostic?
Yes. It is a standalone piece of work and you keep everything it produces: the map, the number, and the plan. You can take it and do nothing further, or take it to someone else. Half of it is credited if you go on with us.
I hired for this already. Why would a system work when a person didn't?
Because a person has to be told. Until they had learned how each function runs, the questions came back to you. We build the system out of your knowledge during the install, so the explaining happens once and then it is written down. Your people own the exceptions, not the whole function.
Do I have to change the tools my team already uses?
Mostly not. We build into what you already use wherever we can, and introduce something new only where there is no other way. Every function gets a named owner on your team who is trained while we build, so adoption is part of the install rather than something hoped for afterwards.
How much of my time does it take?
Two hours a week for the first six weeks, plus access and the documents you already use in week one. After the six weeks it is less than that. If you cannot spare two hours a week this will not work, and we will say so on the call.
What exactly is guaranteed?
In week one we write down every function that stops when you step away. If any function named in your contract still needs you at day 90, we keep working at no charge until it doesn't. The conditions are the two hours a week for six weeks, your documents and access in week one, and a named owner on your team for each function. No claim form, no arbitration clause.
What is the two-week test?
At day 90 you take two weeks away from operations. Not away from the business — you can still take sales calls and make owner decisions — away from the running of it. The practice runs, the dashboard shows it, and the proof is in your own business rather than in our case study.
What happens if a consultant leaves partway through?
From the knowledge layer onward, their clients, case history and open work sit in the system rather than in their inbox. A departure becomes a hiring task, and the replacement onboards from the system instead of from you. That is the single most common reason founders call us in the first place.
